“When words become unclear, I shall focus with photographs. When images become inadequate, I shall be content with silence.”

I always knew that I had a creative streak in me but I wasn’t quite sure what to do with it.

I was educated in graphic design and animation which I loved and still do today.

My passion for photography really started in 1975. Over the last 40 plus years I had dabbled in it here and there, had various camera systems but was never able to commit the time to it. So there it sat ... for 40 plus years. It wasn’t until I retired from the working world in 2017 that I finally had the time and motivation to take photography a little more seriously.

Artist's Statement

Pushing back against our chaotic and unpredictable world, the escape to a quiet, calm place called solitude just feels right. Solitude offers a time for quiet reflection and brings with it patience and simplicity.

When I start from a place of solitude the act of creating photographs is such a joy.

The purpose of this site is to share my passion for photography and life.
